Whilst my position is to be a central hub for all issues “core tech” recruiting (improvement,Microsoft Office Professional Plus, check, and system management) at Microsoft, one of my teammates, Julie Stringham, will be the key stage of get in touch with for style and usability recruiting. Julie is headed down to Portland, Oregon next week for the annual Computer Human Interaction Conference (CHI). For those of you not in the know, CHI 2005 will be the premier international conference for human-computer interaction. Julie is organizing a Microsoft “hospitality event” on Wednesday, April 6 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Multnomah Room at the Doubletree hotel in Portland. I hear the party’s theme is “Eat. Drink. Get Lucky.” Hmmm … sounds interesting. It turns out that the “lucky” part refers to cool prizes you can win … but hey,Windows 7 Enterprise Sale, that’s still fun. Julie says,Microsoft Office 2010 Standard Key, “We are giving away a pocket PC and a portable media center on behalf of the mobile devices team, and software prizes could be awarded every 20 minutes,Office 2010 Professional!” So if you are in Portland for the conference next week,Microsoft Office Standard 2010 Key, stop on by and say hi to Julie.
