microsoft office standard Share class newsletters

When you attach a Word document in e-mail,microsoft office standard, Word Web App lets Hotmail recipients view the attachment in their web browser. They don’t even need Microsoft Word installed on their computer. This is a handy feature that lets my son’s kindergarten teacher share her class newsletter with me. As a parent, I think communication between teachers and parents is paramount to a student’s success in the classroom. I want to be involved with my child’s learning,Office Professional Plus 2007 Key, to know what his school-day world entails, and what’s expected of me. When I’m in tune with what’s going on at school I can reinforce lessons at home, hold my son accountable for school responsibilities, and connect the dots between home and school. Not to mention the importance of keeping my calendar up-to-date with field trips,Office Professional Plus 2010 X86, early-dismissal days, and the ubiquitous snack schedule. A valuable tool in fostering such communication this year has been the class newsletter that my son’s kindergarten teacher distributes every Friday. Just a page, front and back,Office Professional Plus 2010 Sale, of the week’s highlights. She covers the topics the class worked on that week, any special projects, announcements for parents to be aware of, and a heads-up for whose turn it will be to provide snacks in the coming weeks. She formats the information simply, but tidily, in a Word document that she sends as an e-mail attachment. One of the very handy things about that is that I can read the newsletter no matter what computer or device I happen to be using. When I read my mail in Hotmail – even on my phone – Word attachments are displayed in the browser, in Word Web App. I never actually have to download the document or open it in Word. And because the dining room table is the center of communication in my household, I’m also glad that it’s easy to print the newsletter out – quickly, right there in the browser. When I see my husband pick up the copy of Kindergarten Headlines at his spot at the table, I know he’s in the loop, too. In this video,Office Professional Plus 2010 X86, I’ll show you how I view and print my child’s class newsletter using Windows Live Hotmail: Don't have a Hotmail account? Sign up now. Have you tried Office Web Apps yet? Leave a comment to tell me about your experience. --Roxanne Kenison Today’s blog post is brought to you by Roxanne Kenison.
