Yankees Game Will Start at 2 05 P.M.
 

The Yankees can clinch the American League East and clinch the best record in the league by beating the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. But, to do that, the teams have to actually play a game. It is still raining at Yankee Stadium,Los Angeles Dodgers Hats, but the grounds crew is removing the tarpaulin and the approximate starting time of the game will be 2:05 P.M.
Although Manager Joe Girardi did not expect the game to start as scheduled at 1:05 P.M., he was optimistic about the rain subsiding and answered one pregame question by including the phrase “when we play.” When the Yankees play, Andy Pettitte (13-7, 4.15 earned run average) will oppose Paul Byrd (1-2, 6.02 E.R.A.)
Because the Yankees have laptop computers in each locker and several flat screen televisions hanging from the ceiling,Cheap Scarves, Girardi was asked if he had given the team rules about their possible postgame celebration. Girardi said he had not talked to the players about where to spray Champagne.
“I think our guys will be respectful of their home,Tampa Bay Rays Hats,” Girardi said.

Thanks Yankees for a great season when everyone contributed to winning the American League East. Well done! A fan since 1971. Before then, I was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan but when they left for the coast I stopped watching entirely. Then because of health problems I turned on an old 13″ black and white TV and watched as Scooter and White described the action.

This Yankee team is just a joy to watch, and today was another astounding day in an astounding season, with all the players showing so much skill and heart and determination.
Their 100th win AND a sweep of Boston AND the Division championship! Glorious!

Jack, Tyler, it’s time for a post here on the Tigers-Twins series that is about to start. It will probably determine who the Yanks will face; either a surging team (the Twins) who on paper and during the season have not been much of a challenge for the Yanks,NFL Hats Sale, or a stumbling team that has two very strong starting pitchers. The Tigers are sure scarier at first glance, but as Jeter said — the hottest team wins, and the Twins are certainly hot. Would love to hear others’ thoughts too.
