Philadelphia-based Govberg Jewelers, one of iW’s North American Leading Watch Retailers, has launched its own iOS and Android App,Longines, Govberg Buys Watches. According to Govberg Jewelers, the free mobile application is designed to enhance the estate-selling experience by allowing clients to submit their timepieces for a quote using their mobile device.
By releasing its own app, Govberg joins a very small list of luxury retailers and a growing list of luxury brands that have created their own mobile applications.
Within 24 hours of a submission via the app, an expert estate buyer will contact the customer with a price quote. The quick and easy experience for the seller is a major departure from estate-buying practices in the past.
