Going away means staying connected with a new initiative just launched by Dunk Island & Bedarra Island Resorts. In an Australian first, guests can access iPads by the day or hour during their holidays.
3G enabled iPads and USB modems are now available on Dunk Island Resort for use anywhere on the resort.
Resort general manager David Henry says guests have been quick to adopt the offering.
‘There’s been an explosion of iPad use – general awareness is very high – and we are finding guests are quickly taking up the option to hire them on resort. They’re using them in rooms, by the pool enjoying a cocktail and,
Nike Air Max 95,
you can happen as well as to uncover probably the most valuable element you like, of course,
airmax 95, down on the beach,” he said.
The resort has also just significantly upgraded its WiFi facilities offering fast access in the Plantation Bar as well as at the Conference Centre, which also covers the Terrace Restaurant.
“The WiFi and iPads are a very attractive option for our business and conference guests,

For 24 hour hire, WiFi costs $25 and iPads/USB modems are $35. Guests can also rent for shorter periods of one ($10/$12.50) or three hours ($15/$20).
Neighbouring Bedarra Island Resort is currently upgrading WiFi to be available free of charge in all guest villas (it is already freely accessible in the main lodge areas) and also has a number of iPads available for complimentary guest use, which are proving popular.
