The Association kind of reminds me of some NY bars (maybe because the entrance is somewhat behind ground level) but it also had a very secret society/Harry Potter/speakeasy feel to it. (The brass lion on the front door maybe?)
It's very small inside actually and there's a red glow/light to a dimly lit room. I probably should have read reviews about drinks before I came, but oops

mlb team lanyards, but I still had a good time catching up with friends at the bar =) There's large leather couches too but it was so crowded (even after midnight) that it was hard to get a seat.
