Office 2010 Serial
Someone emailed me tonight complaining that Win7 would be provided as much as Software program Assurance clients prior to it will be offered to Action pack subscribers.
You understand what... I'm kinda torn here. Personally RTM doesn't mean as much anymore. We're going to deploy when it's the right time and the fact that I'll have it as a SA customer ahead of I have it as a Partner doesn't phase me one way or the other.
I've been playing (and currently typing on) a Win 7 for months now. As partners one has had ample opportunity to test with the RC. If you think for one moment that I would consider that a savvy client would want to install on the very first release date,
Purchase Office 2010, sorry that's not being a savvy customer.
I can understand that there might be server download issue. Thus the offerings is close enough and good enough in my book.
What do you think?
That all said,
Windows 7 Pro, there's one thing that is indeed bugging me.. in the blog post Brandon says...
Beta testers will not automatically receive a free copy of
Windows 7. Many beta testers are already subscribers to TechNet; those of you who fit that description will be able to download
Windows 7 RTM shortly after RTM happens for free as part of your subscription.
TechNet plus is not to be used in production. Telling beta testers "Oh yeah btw you won't get a free copy but go ahead and use that TechNet plus subscription",
Office Professional, I'm sorry,
microsoft Office 2010 License, that's not allowed in the eula. Technet plus is for TESTING only.
