Default Microsoft Office 2007 Product Key blog switching-g

We have already been talking about resumes really a lot, but I need to swap gears and speak about a particular query we have already been getting asked a whole lot lately. So - in answer to many of your questions - Yes - Microsoft does recruit internationally. I think it makes a valuable difference to our customers in how we develop and ship our products. We have two different ways we approach recruiting internationally. International offices – Microsoft does have teams of individuals that recruit people for our offices in other countries. This is not an area that I know a great deal about so you should check out our international career site for more information. Recruiting talent internationally for positions based in the US – This is probably what most people are wondering about. In general the answer is “Yes”. But first, a few notes in addition to our Disclaimer What I cover here largely applies to people that do not have citizenship, permanent residence status, are an applicant for legalization or amnesty, and asylees/refugees. This does not apply to people who are previously on work visas in the US. My experience is largely with technical candidates – software engineers. I am in no way shape or form a visa/immigration expert. This is all stuff I have learned on the job working with candidates from outside the US. We largely sponsor people for H1B or TN (NAFTA countries) visas and you have to have to meet specified requirements for that type of work status. Typically, this means that you have a 4 year degree in computer science or equivalent for the technical positions we offer (Dev, Test PM). At this time the US has reached the H1B visa cap for the 2004 Fiscal year. This means that they will not be accepting any new visa applications for first time employment until October 2004. This could change if legislation is passed to increase or lift the cap. For now,Microsoft Office 2007 Product Key, you should operate on the premise that it won;t. So what do you do if you need to work for MS and you are non-US candidate? Make sure you apply for position online and fill out a profile. Get in touch with a recruiter now to speak about your interests. Though we may not be able to support a visa now, starting the relationship today could pay off later. This is pretty distinct I know, but we essentially wanted to get the word out and help those folks interested in MS in the US. Let us know if you have any questions! zoë
