One from the finest capabilities in WordPress two.0 is WYSIWYG publish modifying. It takes the pain from formatting, linking and adding photos.
WordPress two.0 arrives with a bunch of modifying buttons, but not ample for what I need it to do. So I dug in to the resource code and located on the market are hooks for including a lot more controls. Following taking part in with it for the couple of minutes,
Office 2007 Ultimate, I was able to add buttons for:
Selecting formats: paragraph, formatted, headers, and many others.
Underline,
Office 2007 Ultimate, subscript, tremendous script, complete justification.
Copy, minimize, paste.
Insert table.
Foreground shade,
Office 2007, track record colour.
Character map.
Full display screen editing.
I developed an easy plugin that automagically adds all these buttons. Download advanced-wysiwyg.php into your wp-content/plugins directory and activate. Appreciate!
PS: The table controls and complete display screen modifying count on added TinyMCE plugins. So if you want these two features too,
Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Plus, you’ll have to obtain TinyMCE plugins and install those separately. For WordPress 2.0.4 users, try the TinyMCE 2.0 RC4 plugins. Or examine the comments to find out what works for other people.
Update: I added two a lot more filter functions. In case you find that the toolbar is too wide,
Microsoft Office Professional 2010, you can move the buttons to a second and even third toolbar (or add much more buttons as you please).
Update: Thanks to Andy, we now have French support.
