Were you a fan? Will you miss it?I may not be a Thrashers fan. But as someone with an appreciation for hockey uniforms, nfl jerseys wholesale I think it was a wreck. But that wasn’t always the case.
When it was first unveiled , I wrote, “this is a great jersey if you can look past the front of it. I like sleeves, the logo element on the shoulders and the striping looks great. I just can’t quite get past the text and the giant number on the front.”
Some fans loved them, and others weren’t big fans. Whether you were a fan of the red third jerseys or not, they were unique, but their time has come to an end.
After launching in the fall of 2008 and being worn for three seasons as an alternate home jersey the red Thrashers jersey is being retired. The Thrashers will return to the basics next season and stick with their regular home and road uniforms with no third jersey in 2011-12.
With their 4-3 regulation win over the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center,Hermes Handbags,NHL jerseys Detroit successfully stopped the defending Stanley Cup champs from qualifying for the playoffs — at least for now. The ‘Hawks loss opens the door for the No. 9 seeded Dallas Stars to leap over that bold line and into No. 8 over Chicago, should they earn two points in regulation or overtime against the Minnesota Wild later Sunday.
Except for the New Jersey Devils, the Bruins have been the hottest team on the east coast. Winners of seven of their last nine, Boston are playing phenomenal. Tim Thomas is having an award winning year, having the best save percentage (0.939) and the best GAA (1.97) of any net minder in the NHL league. He is one of the reasons why this club is dominating the Northeast division. Washington are winners of their last five and have regained control of the Southeast. With the Lightning slipping, it’d take a monumental meltdown for the Caps to fade as well. But remember where they were the last two years. An outstanding club during the NHL regular season, 2010 Olympic Hockey it is a disappointment come playoffs. What’ll be this time Washington?
