you’re in your 30′s? you look younger! on another note, I’m transitioning and I find that it is cheaper to go natural than having to get relaxer retouches every 6-8 weeks, etc. there are many good products out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg.
@luckynumbr13 Anything that contains mineral oil such as grease. Alot of black hair care products in general contain mineral oil.
also either buy or use your local library and find a book on homemade hair and body products. You can make your own conditioners, spritzes, etc. There are plethora of books with easy to more advanced skills on making these products. I simply condition my hair with either coconut oil or mix in other oils. During the summer I use lighter oils N in the winter I use heavier oils like EVOO. N you do not need to add too much oil in these recipes. I’ve been making my own stuff for a year, now
I make my own
hair products…there is no way in hell I ‘ll spend so much money on these other products. Basically, check the ingredients from those natural hair care products, and research homemade hair shampoo recipes, and concoct your own recipes. First thing is the distilled water, then about 3/4 cp depending on the thickness N length of hair castille shampoo, oils,
lisseur ghd fers plats, and essential oils. That’s it.
I LOOOOVE YOUR HAIR
I am so happy to come cross this video. I have been natural for about 5 months and have spent over 300 bucks. Theses products have made my hair dry and fizzy. I have realized the old fashion hair greese and castrol oil works well on my hair. I purchased the castor oil for a laxative for 2.29 and blue magic coconut oil hair greese less then 5 bucks. great stuff my hair stay soft now and I am loving my journey. I think the economy is trying to profit off the naturals as they do the permed.

carols daughter is horrible!, overated, over price corn oil. i stop using her stuff becuase it kept rising in price. i do like the east indian herbal oils like amla which i find to be very affordable and better.
you can just go to any health food store and get coconut oil for like 7 or 8 bucks lol
you really dont look thirty….
Grt Post! 110% Ditto! My mom didn’t have all these fancy products they have for our hair today. Born in the 60′s, you can imagine what was available….LOL! when I became of age to maintain my own hair I invested in a good moisturizing/cond shampoo, hair oil, comb, brush. What’s the point if going natural consist of costly high maintenance products to keep our hair natural. Keep it simple. I’m sticking with the basics.
your hair is sooo beautiful!!!
