For some unexplainable reason, I am obsessed with getting myself a pair of boots. I know, it is completely impractical given our weather and I will have to brave some really curious and odd stares but I can’t help it! I have this crazy infatuation and what isn’t helping is the fact that the Dec holidays are coming and I always travel to someplace cold so I’m psycho-ing myself to believe that it will be of great timberland use to me then (it doesn’t help that the US is weak now either. SIGH! The temptation!) Timberland I’m totally digging the Women’s 6 Inch Premium Waterproof boot in that Wheat Nubrick colour. It’s such a pretty colour and it’s so easy to match! And if that’s not something that tickles your fancy, well, design your own Nellie Chucka Boot! You can pick colours for the sole and body, have custom chanel handbags initials on the tongue or heel and even pick the laces! But what I really love about Timberland boots is how hardy it is. Timberlands can last over 10 years be it rain or shine so it is well worth the US150 price tag. And, it’s got great customer reviews claiming that it is a very sturdy built design with a non-slip sole that can withstand the cold weather and harsh terrain while keeping your feet comfy, dry and warm. What’s more? It’s made of waterproof leather, rust-proof hardware, and it’s also eco-conscious. Seriously, this boot packs a punch. UGG I’ve heard such great things about UGG and how comfy and warm it is because it’s made from genuine sheepskin. I personally like the Women’s Bailey Button design because it can be worn up or cuffed down so it does give you a more to play with. My only gripe is that this doesn’t look too good on icy surfaces. I don’t think this boot is built for harsh weather conditions, climbing, that sorta stuff. It’s pretty much a walking boot. And it doesn’t handbags on sale look waterproof either so if ever there was a spot of rain, this boot wouldn’t survive. So with these drawbacks, it seems that the US160 pricetag is a little too hefty. Dr. Martens Doc Martens are probably the most popular, most well-received boot right now. It’s original 1460 8-Eye Boot comes in all sorts of colours and patterns but I like the understated black or that signature cherry red. I believe in going for the classics and these boots are made to last. It’s waterproof, made of this material called Felix-Rub Off which is a soft, supple material that has a two-tone finish. Dr Martens promises quality and durability and what’s really Northwest Moms — Blog — Customized Nike Dunk SB Shoes awesome about it is how it is 100% vegan-friendly being completely 100% animal-free. Fancy that! And with a US125 price tag, it makes it the cheapest boot of the lot! It looks like I’ve got some thinking to do. Right now I’m inclined towards the Timberlands only cos there’s a shop available in Singapore so I can try on a pair before ordering it online. What do you guys think?
