Default microsoft office 2010 x86 Windows Activation Error

just lately got "genuine" activation problem after one of two things recent May
updates or after installing Visual Studio Express Web/C#/VB and the SP1
Update. Windows update then failed to install an update SP1 Vista.
in the event log there is a DistributedCOM error
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation
permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
8BC3F05E-D86B-11D0-A075-00C04FB68820
to the user Home-PCUSER SID
(S-1-5-21-471328347-769042369-3731885411-1000) from address LocalHost (Using
LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services
administrative tool.
there is a fix on the web to this located:
BUT. at the value: HKCRClsidclsid valuelocalserver32
there is no localserver32 entry and at point 4. on the fix Vista doesn't
display Component Services there?
Also can't get to the microsoft 3 month free support as it says my PID is
invalid,microsoft office 2010 x86!
can't get to the activation numbers as Activation Service fails to start, microsoft office 2010 pro serial key!
UK Number anyone?
