The film boasts the unlikely teaming of Elizabeth Taylor and Carol Burnett as its stars, and is slated to air on HBO late this spring.
Antonio’s distant voice is friendly and full of good-natured enthusiasm, though a slight edge of weariness can be detected.
He’s especially amused that the movie company had to bring in machines to dump a few tons of ######## snow for the movie’s exterior scenes.
“I mean, we come all the way up to Canada, right?” he laughs. “So where’s the snow?”
But the logistics of filmmaking are never simple. What fun would that be? Antonio isn’t complaining.
He’d rather brag on his stars, particularly the legendary Liz.
“Number one, the big surprise is that Elizabeth has a terrific sense of humor,” he says.
