I want to change my sign-in address to my new e-mail tackle.
This page ( seems to say that if you ever change your e-mail handle, you will not have to tell any of your respective contacts - they will find out immediately:

However, I've heard of people having more difficulty than this would indicate. In searching this forum, I see that some people alter their ID only to have all their contacts appear offline.
Also,
office 2010 Professional Plus 32 bit, I can't figure out where to alter my ID. When I go to I can't see any link to vary my sign-in ID.
