Adam Dunn: Wrigley Field Is Dangerous
For always the fascination and nostalgia it offers the fans, discount sony headphones, Wrigley Field isn't all that great of a area to play for the guys on the field. For an, the outfield grass is one absolute mess, and Adam Dunn blames it because Ken Griffey Jr's injury final night. From the Chicago Sun-Times (through Foul Balls):
''That outfield is perilous,'' Dunn said. ''I'm startled more folk don't obtain injured out there. It's worse than playing in a parking lot.''
After seeming to slip while fielding Derrek Lee's single to right, girls puma shoes, Griffey lobbed the pellet back in, then doubled over in ache and crumpled to the floor. The initial diagnosis was an abdominal tug.
Told that concerts were held in the outfield earlier this summer, asics mens shoes, Dunn said: ''It looks favor they had a giant truck rally. It's disgustful. There are potholes. It's bad. It's unsafe.''
Sound versed? Earlier this summer,Hogan Men Shoes, Cliff Floyd reprehended the field behind he strained his shoulder when making a diving play earlier this summer. All the athletes can do is wish the group gets sold former presently -- the team ambitioned apt re-surface the field earlier in the annual merely was told it wasn't in the allowance until the ownership location jolts out. Honestly, mbt tunisha, it seems a bit ridiculous that it's come to this. Why would the team provide hundreds of millions of dollars into actors whether they're working to have them play above someone fair a small tread up from the sandlot down the street?

VMy colleague Pat Lackey had some choice words for the WBC when Sizemore withdrew, claiming that not all the players take it seriously, which in turn affects the fans' interest level. And back in December, Matt Snyder took a stab at who would make up our ideal U.S. roster. Now it's time to take a turn at naming which players, like Sizemore, we're going to miss watching in this tournament.
