Low-price electronics retailer Kogan Technologies claims to own the first sub-$400 10in netbook in Australia. Originally promoting for $499, the Kogan Netbook is now priced at $399.

Specifications contain a one.6GHz Atom N270 CPU,IT professionals urged to achieve chartered status to boost projects - 06 Aug 2009 - Computing Analysis, 1G of RAM,Genuine Microsoft Office 2010, a 160G hard push,Buy Office Professional 2007, a 1024 x 600 screen, 802.11b/g wireless,Windows 7 Home Premium Key, along with a three-cell lithium ion battery.

The Professional version has similarly been diminished in value from $539 to $439. It consists of 2G of RAM, a USB Bluetooth dongle, along with a six-cell battery.

That six-cell battery will also be obtained separately for $64.

"We have established ourselves as a leader in this market and our buying power is increasing every day," said company founder Ruslan Kogan.

"Through our direct business model we can cut out the middle men and pass on these savings to our customers," he added.

The Kogan Netbook ships with the gOS operating system. "We are huge believers in cloud computing and open source software. The reasons are simple,Cheap Windows 7 Key, open source software is usually faster, better and has more features," said Kogan.
