From the bridal party perspective, there really are a limited number of ways for a bridesmaid to individualize themselves on the wedding day.Â* While the wedding focuses on the bride and groom, some bridesmaids dread the wedding for the dress the bride picked.Â* Not to mention the shoes they have to wear with the dress, or the hairstyle the bride insists the bridesmaids have on that special <a href="http://www.airforce1fashion.com/"><strong>nike force one </strong></a> day.Â* So I acknowledge that I am a very lucky bridesmaid.Â* Not just for being friends with the bride, or even being asked to be in the bridal party (even though I do think I’m lucky for both of those things).Â* I’m lucky, because she has worked diligently to ensure that all her bridesmaids retain their individuality throughout her wedding preparations. Not just with hair and make-up, but by letting us each pick out our shoes… I know this may not be a huge deal to everyone, but I love shoes…and I love to wear shoes that I love.Â* Having been in other weddings, I know this isn’t a standard, which is exactly why I know that I’m lucky.Â* When I was asked to be a bridesmaid, I was excited…I <a href="http://www.airforce1fashion.com/products_all.html"><strong>nike air force </strong></a> saw the dress and wondered about the shoes. After all, what color of shoes would you pair with a purple dress.Â* I’m a visual person…so here’s the dress: When the Bride started to explain that she wanted us to pick out our own shoes, I was both elated and worried.Â* <a href="http://www.airforce1fashion.com/womens-air-force-1-mid-c-23.html"><strong>nike air force one mid </strong></a> I was worried, because her only stipulation was that they be ivory or cream in color.Â* At the time, I wondered whether I would ever find a pair of shoes that I would both want to wear and that would look good on me.Â* On one of our many shopping trips, we went shoe shopping.Â* I wasn’t really planning on buying any shoes that day, but I wanted to understand what she meant by her classification.Â* However, the shoes she found and insisted that I try as a potential option for the wedding were also absolutely perfect. Of course my only problem now was that I would absolutely need a tan…it’s never a good thing to have white legs and ivory shoes.Â* Now for my moment of honesty…the bridesmaids dresses were purchased by February2010…my shoes were purchased not long after that, which meant <a href="http://rooyee.org/view.php?id=2504"><strong>christian louboutin(116) -Cheap Mens Timberland Boots</strong></a> that I really was going to have to wait over a year to wear these gorgeous shoes (and yes, she made me promise that the shoes would make their debut at the wedding). So with the wedding only weeks away…I have yet another thing to be excited about.
