Kogan cuts netbook value

Low-price electronics retailer Kogan Technologies statements to have the initial sub-$400 10in netbook in Australia. At first marketing for $499,
Windows 7 Serial, the Kogan Netbook is now priced at $399.
Specs include a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, 1G of RAM,
Windows 7 Serial, a 160G hard generate, a 1024 x 600 exhibit,
Microsoft Office 2007, 802.11b/g wireless, as well as a three-cell lithium ion battery.
The Pro version has similarly been decreased in price tag from $539 to $439. It includes 2G of RAM, a USB Bluetooth dongle, and a six-cell battery.
That six-cell battery will also be purchased individually for $64.
"We have established ourselves as a leader in this market and our buying power is increasing every day," said company founder Ruslan Kogan.
