Skechers sues Sears over shoe patent,love bracelet cartier, trademark claims
Skechers USA Inc. sued Sears Holdings Corp. for selling footwear that infringes the patents and trademarks for products such as Shape-ups and Twinkle Toes.
Skechers is seeking monetary damages and a court-ordered prohibition of the sale of the products,cartier jewelry necklace, the Manhattan Beach,discount cartier necklaces, California-based company said today in a statement.
“While we value our relationship with Sears,Cartier Double C Motif Necklace in Yellow Gold Plated, their actions are causing us tremendous damage,Cartier Longevity Motif Charm Necklace in Gold Plated With Diamo, and we simply cannot let any company,cartier love bracelet, let alone a company the size of Sears,glow necklaces cheap, infringe on our most valuable intellectual property,cartier bow ring,” Philip Paccione,Cartier Dragon Motif Charm Necklace With Diamonds Paved, Skechers' general counsel,cartier love ring, said in the statement.
Sears is selling the allegedly infringing products,Cartier Le Baiser du Dragon Charm Necklace in Gold Plated With D, which go by the brand names TheraShoe,italian fashion necklaces in gold, Melrose Avenue,ring 18-carat white gold screws ring, Paris Blues and Athletech,Leve Necklace White gold, at Sears and Kmart stores and on websites,cartier Double color necklace, Skechers said. Sears and Kmart also sell Skechers shoes,cartier bracelets, according to their websites.
Skechers rose 30 cents,cartier double c pendants, or 1.5 percent,cartier love bracelet gold, to $20.02 at 2:49 p.m. in New York Stock Exchange composite trading. The shares had fallen 1.4 percent this year before today. Sears gained $1.30,gold necklace, or 1.6 percent,cartier inspired double rings necklace, to $84.54 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The shares had risen 13 percent this year before today.
