Golf:Bowen treads forward to skipper Island
FORMER Island golf competition finalist Steve Bowen has been designated Island crew captain.
The 41-year-old, who replaces guy Royal Jersey membership Terry Smith,
cheap Clae Parker, has been unanimously accepted to the post at the full Council of the Jersey Golf Union.
Bowen played and captained Royal Jersey to the Hampshire 7-a-side title in 2005 and then captained his club’s Alexander Forbes Channel Islands League success last year.
