Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a web site or a web page in search engines, by using many different techniques and methods. The main purpose of SEO is to get free traffic from the search engines to a site or a page. This can be accomplished by targeting specific search terms that are relevant to the site in question.
2 Types of Search Engine Optimization
1. On-page optimization
On-page SEO revolves around making sute that the title,uggs shoes, description,ugg cove boots, meta tags, images and the written content on the site target relevant keywords for your site.
Example: If you have a site about dog training, your site’s title could be Doggy Heaven. A SEO improvement could be Doggy Heaven – Dog Training Site, although the best option would be simply to have the title Dog Training.

2. Off-page optimization
Off-page SEO(also called link building) is all about links. The number, quality and anchor text of the links pointed to your site determine the position of your site in the search engines. the search engines count each link to your site as a vote. The more votes you have, the more popular your site is in the eyes of the search engines.
The most important aspect in off-page SEO is the anchor text of the links. Anchor text is the text in the hyperlink, and it tells the search engines what the linked page is all about.
Example: Link Building – the text Link Building is the anchor text of this link and it tells Google and the other search engines that this specific page linked to has content about link building. This signals Google to rank that page higher in the search results.
