The 1 12 year old girl died at her home in the 700 block of South Horne around 7 p.m., Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry said.
According to Berry, the family had just returned home from shopping. In the midst of taking items into the house,

Berry said the girl made her way to the driveway when her father was either repositioning the van or leaving the house. He hit the little girl as he was backing the van.
