If you listen to conservatives talking about the Bush years, you’ll generally get an earful about how the GOP screwed things up. In other words, the primary reason we got our behinds kicked in 2006 and 2008 was because we did a lousy job. Incidentally, that would be EXACTLY my analysis.
Liberals have not reached this point yet. This is despite the fact that it’s not just the elephant in the room; it’s a MASTODON.
The fact of the matter is that despite all the complaints about the filibuster, the Democrats have actually managed to get a significant chunk of their agenda through. The stimulus, expanded bailouts, financial reform, Cash for Clunkers, the student loan takeover,
Office 2010 Professional, and of course,
Office 2010 Keygen, Obamacare. The voters also got to see how Obama handled foreign policy (timelines and bowing), how he handled a disaster (making the oil spill in the Gulf worse), and they’re getting a chance to render their opinion on passing bills that haven’t been read,
Windows 7 License, czars, and spending like there’s no tomorrow.
So,
Office Professional Plus 2007, who’s running on this agenda? The Republicans. Who’s doing their best to run from this agenda? The Democrats. This is no coincidence.
