The best way to acknowledge Academi support
Academi’s assistance should be acknowledged in all publicity relating to the event/s receiving support. This includes posters, programmes, fliers and all other printed publicity as well as clear acknowledgement on all relevant internet and e-mail promotional material.

Press releases and press interviews should also acknowledge Academi assist. If appropriate,Office 2007 Professional Plus, verbal acknowledgement of Academi’s support should be made at the time of the event. At events where venue and on-stage profiling is appropriate via pop-up banners etc,Office Ultimate 2007 Key, Academi’s help must be acknowledged along with and proportionate to that of the other funding partners.

The Academi logo should be used, in full-colour wherever possible, but in black and white if necessary. It should be legible and positioned wherever most practical, but must not be altered in any way. Academi’s logo must be in proportion to other logos carried by the client.

The minimum height of the logo is 9mm.

Misuse of the logo

The Academi logo should always appear in a horizontal format. Do not stretch or compress the logo. You should always try to use the logo and not just words like ‘this project is supported by the Academi’. Always use the correct colours or black, or reversed out in white.

If publicity is prepared prior to your application to Academi and does not carry credit to Academi, this may jeopardise your application. Academi asserts the right to withhold all or part of the agreed funding of any event or project where the organisers have wilfully or carelessly been in breach of the above conditions.

Any difficulty in compliance with any of the above requirements should be reported immediately to the Academi. If you are unable to use the logo in digital format, it is also available from us as a hard copy. These logos are also available as a JPEG file (suitable for a website or any small printed images) in colour or black and white, and as an EPS file (recommended for high resolution printed material), also in colour or black and white. If you are still unsure of which file type to use:

TIFF – a popular type of image file which cannot contain vector (scaleable) graphics. Its file size is usually a lot higher than the equivalent JPEG, but this is reflected in the high quality of the image. TIFF files can be used easily on Macs or PCs and most imaging applications can open and edit them.
Recommended Use: Any Printed Material

JPEG – mainly used where high resolution and colour perfection is not so vital (e.g. on a website or for very small printed images). Most basic image editing applications can open and edit them. Their advantage is their very small file size.
Recommended Use: Web Pages

EPS – generally used if the image is to be printed. They are scaleable to any size, whilst preserving the detail and resolution. Software that can handle this type of file is essential; most commonly Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark,Cheap Office 2010, or Paint Shop Pro.
