Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or commonly referred to as "Alice in Wonderland" is a classic novel that every young girl should read.It is written by a famous English writer Lewis Carroll in 1865.Several versions of Alice in Wonderland had been produced since the book was published.There television adaptations, film adaptations, Broadway performance, video games and to my surpise, there is even an x-rated version of Alice in Wonderland.The TV and movie adaptations of the novel have live and animated versions.The most popular animated version was the Alice in Wonderland in 1951 which was produced by Disney.The oldest version known is the silent film which was made way back in 1903. And the latest adaptation of the famous children's literature is the 3D fantasy-adventure film that uses a combined live action and 3D animation technique.The new version of Alice in Wonderland is directed by veteran director Tim Burton who is known for his dark and quirky-themed films like Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhand, Sleepy Hollow and many more. The newcomer Mia Wasikowska plays the lead character of Alice, Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts, Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, Christopher Lee as the Jabberwocky and many other.This version of Alice in Wonderland is somewhat different to any other Alice version.It is darker and more twisted than the original Disney version.It may not be as gruesome as the American McGee video game "Alice" but will still not be as friendly as the cartoon version.There is also a giant Art and Visual Effects department working on this film so you know it's going to have great CGI creatures and sets.Scenes in the movie are set in the Victorian era.On the movie,
