In one of the maximum approachable and wearable collections they have shown, the girls wove a mini-history of West Coast life nearly forty years ago, mixing typical interior décor colours of the period, with porcelain prints and a woodland idea, influenced along many trips to the redwood jungles of Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey.

Gone was the detail fragmenting and anguishing which has apparent previous Rodarte collections. Instead, elaborate hand-techniques and smart draping took median stage.
The opener skirt fashion was like 2 petals, or a casually-open sarong, falling gracefully to below-the-knee, under a draped hip basque.
Gold, either matt and shimmering, and in all manner of cloths from lame and brocade, apt silk and Lurex, was mingled with the hand-crafted leather to establish ensembles which were pure Queen of the Forest.
