Apparently there are some major shakeups on the way for the Madden NFL development team. It appears that several of the most senior members of everyone’s favorite yearly football franchise might be on their way out, according to a report by PastaPadre who is usually very reliable about these things. Why would anyone want to leave one of the most successful gaming franchises in history? The same reason people always leave in situations like this, money and power most likely. On Friday, the Orlando Business Journal reported on the fact that a new social gaming studio, to be known as Row Sham Bow, is creating 60 “high wage” jobs in the Orlando area (also home to Tiburon). It appears that job postings for the new Studio started going up earlier this month.
At this point its unknown which members of the team might have already been or may be lured away. One thing we do know is that it isn’t Madden NFL director Ian Cummings. There are a lot of great people who make Madden what it is and the loss of any one of them could be devastating. You look at Josh Looman,
lunette ray ban discount, the mastermind behind Madden Ultimate Team or Donny Moore, the Madden ratings guru and you have to think the loss of either one of them could have major implications on the franchise. According to the report, when we find out who’s leaving the names will be familiar to anyone who is a big fan of the franchise.
Madden NFL 12 development is in full swing with the team starting their first press demos right around now. What impact if any these possible departures could have on Madden NFL 12 is unknown. What I do know is that the team that works on Madden not only loves the game but they love what they do and that kind of genuine love for what you do is hard to replace.
