Saga 1: The Dark Fox
Chapter 1: The Disk
A large harvest moon was still high over Cybaria. It illuminated all with a warm glow that warded away the fears of all who quaked at the power of the creatures that lurked in the shadows. Still, to one lone shadow, it was the most dangerous thing in the entire world right now. It jeopardized the shadow's imperiling its safety as well.
This person this."shadow".crept along a wall. Hidden in a secret pocket of its skin tight spandex bodysuit was a small, silver disk. This disk contained the latest information on laser-related weapons and defense systems. It held information that could destroy the world if it landed in the hands of the wrong people.
The large complex protected by electric fences and laser guarded rooms was one of the "most secure" buildings in the world. It was the government facility 0932, where all of the intelligence went after developed. found themselves victim to one thief.
Suddenly the silence of the night was broken by sirens and lights, raising the alarm that once again they'd been hit.
incompetent fools finally realized I was here! Making a mad dash for one of the fences, the thief's hand glowed and sparked with energy as a golden high-voltage orb appeared in it's hand The being thrust their palm forward, not only short circuiting the fence but blowing a hole through it. Another mission accomplished successfully.
Once the figure had reached the safety of the thick jungle, the being removed the dark visor and head piece that covered their features. Crimson hair that flowed half way down the girl's back fell from being put up and concealed. Her silver steel-like eyes glistened in what little moon light made its way through the upper parts of the foliage. The female was smiling warmly, pleased with herself. Things were supposed to get harder to take from the easier.
"Oh well. I guess they never came out with the new defense system they were supposed to install." The seventeen year old lass shrugged and wrapped her arm around a vine, pulling it down. A hole opened up in a nearby tree and the teenager was left with only seconds to dive roll through the hole once she'd let go of the vine. Walking through the pitch darkness, the only sound heard was the soft thud of footsteps echoing off of the metallic floor and walls.
After what seemed like hours of walking forward, the tunnel stopped. The girl's hand drifted instinctually to a button on the wall and there was a hissing sound. The crimson haired thief pushes a circle of metal from to roof of the tunnel and pulled herself up and into the basement of a local bar. The room was locked from the inside, meaning that unless you came through the tunnel there was no way you'd be getting in. ((Sorry it was short.
