Tevas are marketed as amphibious footwear,

Fill a sink,

Leave your Tevas out to air-dry. If you're concerned about bacterial growth---or if the stink keeps coming back quickly,
diamonds, which is a possible sign of continuing bacterial growth---you can seal the Tevas in a plastic bag and freeze them overnight. Do this after cleaning and drying them.
