Painted pumpkins Last Halloween post I swear, although technically this is <a href="http://wk.putianb2b.com/"><strong>å…�费网赚 </strong></a> “fall decor” and that lasts for another 3 weeks so ha. Anyways, I was a total total slacker this year, I knew I wanted to do these pumpkins but I kept procrastinating and thus they didn’t get until halloween day…and one just got done last week. whatever! So I’ve been buying ######## pumpkins here and there at yard sales throughout the year for super cheap, I have 5 so far and on the lookout for more, I saw this post here and really liked them but wanted to do it slightly different. and <a href="http://wk.putianb2b.com/"><strong>上海兼è�Œ </strong></a> did some searching and found more I liked. I really liked the Polka dot one Manuela did here and I liked the real pumpkin Stephanie carved from a stencil So here is what I did no they are not perfect, I tried to measure, didn’t work too well with the divots of the pumpkin, tried stenciling with pencil, worked slightly better, but I ended up just free-handing them, it saved time (which I had precious little of) and I wasn’t aiming for perfection ok?! But i like how they turned out. So first I spray painted them black and white. And then i used acrylic paint and small brushes to do the patterns and stems, using the opposing color to correct any mistakes. It reminded me of my ASU design days painting with plaka, just with no Andy Weed looking over my shoulder…(If you know what I’mÂ* talking about. Halla!) As you can see I did polka dots on this one. Went with a traditional jack O’ lantern face and a chevron-ish pattern (that was the one that took <a href="http://wk.putianb2b.com/"><strong>打ç*�网赚 </strong></a> a little longer) and my little spidey.At least I did them in a somewhat Halloween time frame! It was actually kind of festive to be painting them intermittently between answering the door to trick or Treaters. Except for the one little boy who asked if he could have one (how cute) however when I said “no, sorry buddy” he proceeded to grab the big polka-dotted one and run away! He returned it when his mom yelled at him.Â* Yes, I still need to paint the exterior of the house.
