But I love to paint anything to do with horses, especially horse racing themes. I’m fascinating by the energy, colors and movement of the jockeys and horses. Can’t say this is bridging the gap between me mounting one of these animals for a short trail ride and my apprehensiveness to sit in the saddle, but with each painting I do become more aware of their physique and power. I discovered a new long handle paint brush as I was blocking in this piece and decided to get more familiar with it’s smooth butter-like way of releasing the paint to the surface. Back in 2003 I worked at an art’s and crafts store in Seaside, <a href="http://www.salehandbagsbags.com"><strong>lv handbags</strong></a> Florida where they placed a large order of supplies. The vendor shipped extra paint brushes and some of them were distributed to me and other artists/painters. I’ve never used the majority of them but will occasionally pull one out to see what it’ll do. I prefer ragged and worm out brushes and it usually takes a while to warm-up to a new and consider it part of the family. The brush in an Escoda Kolinsky No.4 and I think I may make it a permanent part of the arsenal.Â* Maybe I’ll even explore some of the others in the near future, but for now I’ll welcome the new member and get to know it better this week.
