Different Types of Tactical Tools
Expeditionary trips are taken for a number of different reasons – guys' weekend at the hunting lodge, a rock climbing trip and sometimes, even deployment from the military can be the beginning of an expeditionary mission. All of these various trip types have a plethora of changing needs that require an assortment of tools. This is where tactical tools come into play – particularly when you need to find solutions to hardware problems.
A key tool for any tactical trip is a knife. The number of various things you can simplify or fix with a knife is endless. For instance, you may come across some brush that cannot walk through, so you would use a knife to help cut down some of it. Hypothetically, you may come across a wild animal that is looking to attack and a knife is a quick, effective weapon to draw in such a situation.
Multi-tools are also incredibly effective in an expeditionary scenario. One of the most important tools for any tactical trip is some sort of navigational tool, like a compass or GPS system. You may think that a tool like a compass is outdated, but it is crucial to any hunter. It doesn't make noise (that could startle animals) and doesn't need a power source.
