A story about tiffany necklace

Long time ago, there was a woman who lived with her husband. They were not very rich and their hard earned money only maintained their basic need. Yet, their neighbors were very rich. Usually, the woman saw the rich one wearing designer tiffany jewelry which made her more elegant and stunning; she envied her very much but never complained her husband.

One day, she received a notice which was from her classmates. They told her to take part in a party which was in order to get together as they had never met each other since graduation. The woman felt both delight and worried. The delight for her was that she could see her best friend whom she really missed. But she was now very poor and had no decent jewelries and clothes to wear when joining in the party. She would be embarrassed when she saw any other were in rich. What did she do? She felt distressed. Her husband also had no idea when he saw his wife so sad.

Suddenly, she thought a good idea that she could borrow these costly jewelries and clothes from her neighbor who was rich enough. Although the relationship between them was not very close, she still tried to make this request to her neighbor. Luckily, the rich woman lent her a tiffany necklace and some clothes. She was so delight and worn them to the party. As her expected, she got much admiring words from her classmate at that night. Her vanity got the greatest satisfaction. After the end of party, she got back home and felt excited and told her husband how delight she was that evening! The husband also felt happy for his wife. But then, the man asked the woman where her tiffany necklace was as it was not on her neck. She felt very nervous when she found it was really true. Hurriedly, she got out and searched for this jewelry with her husband. But they did not find the lost jewelry.

They felt panicky and worried. What should they do? So costly jewelry, where did they get? They discussed together and thought of a way which was the only way. They did not tell their neighbor the tiffany necklace had lost and borrowed money from their relatives to buy the same one. They borrowed much money and returned the new necklace to their neighbor. The problem was solved, but there was so much debt which was waiting for them.

From then on, the couple worked harder than before. In order to earn money, they did anything they could. At last, they had earned enough money to pay off debt, but the woman had been much older than several years ago. One day, their neighbor met her and had a big surprise when she saw her. The rich woman asked why she became so old which was not commensurate with her age. Then, she told the reality to her neighbor. What was shocked for everyone, the neighbor said to her the tiffany necklace which was lent to her was a replica tiffany which cost much less than the designer necklace.
