Cashman Emphasizes Patience After Lee Gets Away

The Yankees are not expected to make any drastic moves in an attempt to address their starting pitching needs after failing to sign their prime free-agent target,2011 New Arrival Sale, the ace starter Cliff Lee,Montreal Expos Hats, General Manager Brian Cashman said.

Meanwhile, MLB.com reported Tuesday that the Yankees had agreed to terms with the free-agent catcher Russell Martin. Cashman would not confirm the deal, which is reportedly dependent on Martin’s passing a physical. Martin, a two-time All-Star for the Los Angeles Dodgers, played in 97 games in 2010 and is recovering from a broken right hip.
