The NAB Ballet website news crew has received some lovely feedback and photos from the Kerry Moore School of Ballet in Ballarat following their trip to The Australian Ballet's matinee performance of The Nutcracker - The article of Clara at the Arts Centre in Melbourne last month.
"As Education Programme Partner of The Australian Ballet, NAB is passionate about patronizing young dancers as they work towards approaching their potential and we are pleased to make this opportunity a reality for ten children," said Mr OrLeary.
"At first they were a little in awe but rapidly relaxed when they realised how lukewarm and encouraging they both were".

"We are so thankful for the experience as the students returned to school absolutely inspired," said Penny Fleming, Head Teacher, Performing Arts (Dance and Drama).
The Carmel Amelia School of Dance was one of the {first|at at first,0,0} schools contained in the NAB Dance the Dream pilot program in 2007, back then having the opportunity to meet the Australian Ballet's Lisa Bolte.
"Thank you for the stamps to the Australian Ballet's Nutcracker. It was indeed pretty. The kids were mesmerized by the dancers. It was also just ahead their exams so to watch the professional dancers was very inspiring. I'm certain,0 those who went had many higher results."
Gabriella and Jarryd were treated favor royalty by the students on their arrival and were taken aback by the care they received.

Tim OrLeary, General Manager NAB Community & Corporate Responsibility, said the bank is delighted to be attempting this unique opportunity to young dance enthusiasts.
The successful ballet schools were selected by a plate of judges from The Australian Ballet and NAB following a national promotion on nab.com.au/ballet throughout May and June. Over 750 entries were received, production the selection process a difficult task for the referees.
Workshops comprised of an preferential class hosted by an of the former dancers from The Australian Ballet for a select number of students, followed by a Q&A conference for the school and the wider community.

The 'Introduction to the Ballet' class was an opportunity for the students to see the dancers of The Australian Ballet demonstrate their exercising in a practice class on stage. This was emulated by a complete scene from The Nutcracker - the Story of Clara.

The substantial performance was a stunning Australian take on an age theme and the girls actually got to obliged how stories could be told through dance. They couldn't stop talking about it on the bus on the access home - and here I was, thinking they'd all be worn out and fall comatose! Again, thanks very much for the opportunity you gave the school."

"The students couldn't believe how much work went into being a ballet dancer and how fit they all were," said Jessica Bryan, Gippsland Grammar School Year Nine preceptor.
"The children weren't quite sure what to anticipate merely they sponged it all and asked so many questions. They are still talking about it!" she joined.
The Dancers Company is The Australian Ballet's regional touring team, featuring guest artists from The Australian Ballet beside graduating students from The Australian Ballet School.
