He highlighted the importance of increasing public awareness against the crime, especially among police officers and law implementation forces, entry points authorities and other professionals such as employees of the medical and social services field, to help increase their readiness to combat these crimes effectively.
Guide planned
The leaflet, issued in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, includes the legal definitions of the human trafficking crime and its victims, the articles of Federal Law No.51 for 2006 against human trafficking, information on how to help combat the crime, as well as information about the centre and its targets and services.
Announcing the launch of a new leaflet titled ‘Stop Human Trafficking', Major Sultan Al Jamal, Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Control Centre at Dubai Police, said between 600,000 and 800,
louboutin,000 people are affected by transnational human trafficking every year, while millions fall victim to the crime in their own countries.
The centre is also planning to issue a guide, which includes the priorities of authorities concerned with combating human trafficking and providing care for victims, Major Al Jamal said.

Earlier this month,
