Microsoft Office Standard Office Project Ceiling

Last week I posted about how I updated the bulletin boards. This week I’m posting a few glimpses of how I updated the ceiling fan in the room. I really do detest this fan, but this will do until the budget allows for something else.
Before:
Hideous.
I unscrewed the globe and in its place,Office Pro 2010, put a drum lamp shade that looks like this…:
…so the shade would essentially hang upside down and would be held in place by the light bulb.
And after:
Not a huge change, but I like it. For now at least. :) I may cover the shade in linen.
What do you think? Do you think it looks better now?
