Overview
4 Channel Turbine Accumulator Input Wise CardThe Automation and Electronics, Inc. STRB was designed to provide turbine meter and pulse input expansion capacity for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Using a reduced power requirement along with a vast running temperature array, the STRB is excellent for use in remote 120 VAC, 24 VDC, or photo voltaic powered distributed I/O methods. It could also be utilised as being a stand-alone MODBUS turbine meter and pulse input module.
The STRB is a microprocessor based mostly four-channel accumulator board. This card is able to accumulating pulses immediately from either turbine meter magnetic pickups or dry make contact with closures. Jumpers are furnished for each channel to select the kind of pulse input being used. The on-board microprocessor accumulates these pulses,
Office 2010 Pro Plus Key, and can make them accessible to possibly host programs or grasp controllers through a serial info highway.
The info highway is implemented utilizing the inbuilt RS-485 serial port. Each of the Sensible Card series might be daisy chained jointly using these serial ports. Each Smart Card responds to MODBUS polls or instructions from a grasp. An on-board tackle selector switch allows every single board for being easily configured for almost any MODBUS deal with. This RS-485 info highway can then be used to make a scalable, flexible input / output expansion array.
