I have had my share,
Windows 7 32bit! Some of them make me think Jimmy Hoffa is still alive and running them. And others seem to serve a valid purpose.
One union I was in was long ago at a grocery chain. There was a strike. Old men were bringing machetes and baseball bats to work with them. Nobody was allowed to bring their car to work. (because they thought all the cars would get smashed) You had to be dropped off or walk. (I walked) This S*** went on for weeks. In the end we got a 10 cent raise. I then sought work elsewhere.
A factory I worked at had an outstanding union. Everything worked out great for everybody. (I ended up quitting there because it was so far away from my home and I really hate driving....I know... I should have relocated)
