Rogers ready to offer two of Sony Ericsson's new Android smartphones.
In an interesting and somewhat related note,Sony DSCH55 Silver, we're still yet to see Verizon make any noise in regards to their carrying of the Xperia Play. The phone was announced in early February whereas Verizon was quick to confirm they would offer the gaming handset this spring. At one time,Nokia E71 gray, the Xperia Play was rumored to go on sale April 14,Canon WP-V2 4433B002 Waterproof Case, but that time has come and passed with no further announcements.
As we learned last week,Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, the carrier is accepting preorders for both handsets with as little as $50 down at local Best Buy stores. At the time,BlackBerry Curve 8350i, pricing was rumored,HP dv7 3165dx, but not confirmed,Samsung PL200 Silver, to be 99 Canadian dollars ($103) with a three-year commitment. Tech blog MobileSyrup has obtained a couple of internal Rogers documents,SONY W310 Silver, verifying the three-year pricing as well providing other options.
The Rogers documents also indicate the Xperia Arc will come with a 16GB microSD while the Xperia Play has an 8GB card. What's more,BlackBerry Tour 9630, the Xperia Play will also come preloaded with a number of game titles,BlackBerry Curve 8900 black, including Sims 3,Sony T99 Black, FIFA 10,Canon Rebel T2i, Madden 2011,Sony Z133GX/S Silver, and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.
As previously reported,Apple iPhone 3G 16GB black, the $99.99 cost will require customers to agree to a three-year voice-and-data plan. Pricing jumps up considerably for two-year plans at 449 Canadian dollars ($470) while a one-year contract calls for 499 ($522) for both handsets.

Canadian carrier Rogers might be a week from delivering the one-two punch that is the Xperia Play and Xperia Arc,Samsung U10, but that doesn't mean the tech press will stop digging up details.
