Membership in Pacific IT Specialists is at just about 6,000 and support eight million desktops. (As confirmed by an Independent audit conducted by Microsoft.)
The expert association meets monthly to share experiences, troubleshooting techniques, problems with products, security concerns, and to learn about the latest Microsoft technologies. The group was founded in 1985 and meets monthly in downtown San Francisco on the first Tuesday of the month. The monthly San Francisco meeting is web-simulcast live to meeting locations in Sacramento, Fresno, Reno/Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Silicon Valley,
Office 2010 Professional Key, Santa Rosa, and Los Angeles. Other monthly meetings take place in Pleasanton,
Purchase Office 2007, Pleasant Hill, and Los Angeles.
Pac IT Pros has special internet meetings on PowerShell, SQL, .NET, Exchange, Microsoft CRM, IT Security, Office Communications Server, Networking, Mobile computing, and Microsoft’s Small Business Server.
