Palm may have had a tough time getting their webOS mobile platform up to part with competitors like iOS and Android but now that the company has been bought by HP, things could potentially begin to look up. As you’re sure to know, HP has big plans for webOS with the idea of bringing the intuitive mobile platform to everything from smartphones and tablets to printers.
Seeing how the platform is predominantly a smartphone platform many are wondering if HP’s future smartphone offerings will be up to par. Of these smartphones is the extremely small HP Veer. This device features a 2.6-inch display with 320 x 400 resolution, 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5 megapixel rear facing camera and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
While we’ve known of the hardware packed into the Veer for quite some time, we haven’t been able to accurately slap a release date on the little device. Well lucky for us, PreCentral has gotten an invitation from HP that apparently confirms the Veer to be hitting AT&T on May 2nd of this year. If this is true, expect an official announcement quite soon. Incoming search terms for this article:appleHP Veer 2 review
