This really does seem to be a déjà vu of some sort or other. Bonds going to trial again,http://jacksonmillerfamilyreunion.co...8941#msg428941, saying he didn’t take the steroids and the prosecutors imploring the judge to let them show documents that prove he did. It’s possible there are other underlying factors that, you guessed it, the public may never see or know.
Bonds’ lawyers are in complete disagreement with the prosecuting attorneys and believe the tests should be excluded from the trial. The argument is that the reports cannot be conclusively linked to Bonds. The government is adamant that Bonds’ lawyers don’t have a legal reason to have the documents sealed and are simply behaving in a manner that suggests they want to keep unfavorable evidence out of the public’s eye. There’s been no comment from Bonds himself. But in the absence of it, the lawyers on both sides seem to have quite a lot to say.
You think it’s on the way to settled or quieted down and something comes up again. This time, it’s the prosecutors who want Barry Bond’s steroid test results made public before the form Giants player goes to trial on perjury charges.
Should a jury find Bonds guilty, he could face 30 months in prison. Bonds positive test for amphetamines use in 2006 prompted an investigation into steroid use in baseball and subsequently ended Bonds’ career in 2007 when he suffered a sprained toe and was told, by a written letter from the Giants management that he would not be returning to play for the team.

Illston has given no indication when the matter will be addressed. Bonds case is scheduled to go to trial on March 2. As the record stands, Bonds has denied knowingly using steroids and has also plead not guilty to obstruction of justice and 11 counts of perjury.
Bonds, who remains one of baseball’s all-time home run kings,http://www.norcalhookup.com/user_blog.php, was charged with steroid use and accused of lying under oath in December 2003. Following the legal process, Bonds was indicted on the charges, arraigned and issued a plea of not guilty. Recent motions have been filed with no indication that Bonds will change his plea which means a trial is forthcoming.
Seized in September 2003 when the BALCO steroid lab in Burlingame was raided by federal agents, Bonds’ test results were amongst documents taken in the raid. According to the government, there are test results that show Bonds was testing positive for steroid use as far back as 2000 and would offer positive proof that Bonds perjured himself before a grand jury in 2003 when he claimed he’d never used steroids.
