24 hours television box sets

"A few observations: ""Dr. Who is not, to my knowledge, a controversial TV show. Pretty much everyone who watches it loves and praises it as one of the finest sci-fi shows of all time. Well, I just finished the first episode, and I am afraid that my thoughts are going to be a bit more controversial than most. In no particular order, here they are:The producers seem to have found a choose your own adventure book from the 1980's at a garage sale for a nickel and based the plot on a quick reading of it.The actors, especially the mother and the Monk series box set boyfriend, were probably discovered Ugly Betty dvds at 3 a.m. on QVC.The writers were doing well on the dialogue until one of them somehow got their hands on a copy of Xena outtakes and they realized that they could convert them into Brit-talk, and have more time to watch Maury.The special effects were either created by seven year old Mexicans paid in government cheese, or were stolen from windows 3.1 screen savers.The BBC has somehow managed to REGRESS from the Sanctuary dvd 2 production quality of the 1970's Chronicles of Narnia.Somewhere in Asia, there is a town made up entirely of interns who weren't good enough to make it as cinematographers on Korean soap operas. These former interns are desperate for American Green Cards. The producers of Dr. Who hired the blind mothers of these interns, and made them film entirely on $39.99 Walmart webcams.Seriously, either this show gets way, WAY better, or no one who says they love it has ever actually watched it. I'm surprised that the end credits weren't done in Comic Sans. I voluntarily read comics made by people in their parents basement, drawn entirely South Park series box sets in stick figures, and I still almost couldn't force myself to make it through the entire episode. For my the sake of my friends who absolutely love Dr. Who, I will try to watch the second episode as soon as I've recovered from the trauma of the first, but the story better be so good that it makes me wet myself in delight,"" or I will forever lose my faith in humanity. "Starts slow ""The first about three episodes are absolute arse and should The Wire dvd be called the Billi Piper show,"" but they get better as they go along with some cool story lines and great costumes """""
"I am not amused ""I watched this last night, on a DVD rented from netflix, and I must say I am fairly dissapointed. I'm glad I didn't buy it, because it really is not worth the price to own this piece of dreck. The effects are awful, even worse than the old (and fun) Doctor Who. The sets in a Godzilla movie are more convincing than the sets here. Billie Piper has the acting talent of a soup can. And it was racist of them to put in the cowering black guy. At best buy it costs $84.99. It hardly looks like BBC had that budget. Obviously made for kids,"" but we can give them a little credit here! I hope primeval is Star Trek:The Original 1-3 better.
