Goddammit, I've tried to be rational about this but ########ing Christ, Drayton what are you doing? Paying 15 million of the 30.5 million owed to Berkman/Roy,straightners, and getting absolutely nothing except one guy that MAY pan out... that took a SECOND trade to get. I'm supposed to be excited about Carlos Lee?! (Uncle D's words, not mine) If you're not gonna keep Oswalt around for me to watch every 5th day, at least get some goddamn prospects for him.

Well at least the Yankees and Phillies will pick up the whole contract... oh,ghd France, wait... they won't? Are you kidding me? What was the reasoning behind this? You save 15.5 million over not trading them, sure, but it's not like the Phillies and Yankees need to take on money to pay for them. I don't see any legitimate reasoning for so much cash being exchanged. We're getting almost nothing in return. We're paying half of their salaries to send them away. What?
I don't even know what's going on anymore. Happ shows promise. Lee is still dreaming of deep fried sheep when he goes to bed every night after he dives into his Uncle Scrooge pool of gold coins. Blathering Blatherskites! Yeah, I just dropped TWO DuckTales references. I hope to god the guys we've drafted this year pan out like Cole Hamels/Chase Utley/etc in Philly.
