Since I am a self proclaimed fan of Miki Racine Berardelli,
Tory Burch Reva Sale, Chief Marketing Officer of
Tory Burch, I was reluctant to judge the book. My family happens to be customers of the Brand and we love the style, the community, and the in-store experience as well as the outlets. Then the book arrived in a cold, off-putting plastic case, and I felt a little excluded. This was not what I expected from a Brand that is typically welcoming.
So I couldn’t help going at it with a skeptical and critical eye. But as I opened it,
Tory Burch Sales, I liked it. I didn’t get the sense that the plastic held me at arm’s length. Rather it was meant to protect what was inside—that the contents of the package were worth keeping safe. This book was extraordinarily well done and I loved each spread; even though I was trying desperately to find fault with the presentation or pacing. The back spread especially was super smart. Its imagery summed up the spirit of the book, and made me want to bottle the feeling – it was worth preserving in that plastic coating.
This in-store driver is a great book about style, romance, and point of differentiation. Tory has done that with her exceptional style; and Miki, you captured its essence. Now, off to the store to make a purchase.
