Today , Microsoft officially released Windows Embedded Compact 7, and provides a 180-day evaluation version free trial.

back in June 2010 Microsoft announced a new member of the embedded product line Windows Embedded Compact 7, although many people do not know the name , but its predecessor, Windows CE surely we all know .

Microsoft Download Center in the official Windows Embedded Compact 7 provides the evaluation version (Evaluation), with full functionality , support for operating systems : Windows 7, Vista, XP SP3, users can free of charge for 6 months.

Windows Embedded Compact 7 on Windows 7, for business and consumer terminals, such as POS,Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, ATM machines , cell phones, industrial equipment and so on . It is based on Windows CE, the introduction of many new technologies :

Silverlight multimedia technology ;
upgraded version of IE, the kernel and Windows Phone 7 the same as used in the IE kernel , support Flash 10.1,Microsoft Office Professional 2007, scaling, Multi-touch , use the thumbnail browser bookmarks.
Add a Connection Manager Connection Manager to help users manage multiple network switches on the device , Windows Device Stage allows different users to easily switch between devices and PC media or other content.
