Rep. John Boehner was crying yet again.
DownWithTyranny:
Avid crier, John Boehner, was at it again: sobbing once the statue-- or, in his circumstance, idol-- of Ronald Reagan was unveiled in Statuary Hall this early morning. Or maybe his mind was just wandering in the direction of what modern Politico termed the stealth war to maintain relocating the GOP along the street to oblivion as being a critical countrywide get together.
It's not a lot that the wing-nuts will miss John McHugh (R-NY) or maybe the probability of currently being embarrassed once more once they shed a seat-- soon after a expensive battle they cannot afford-- using a remarkable GOP registration advantage (120,887 Democrats to 167,272 Republicans). Obama won the district 52-47% final November.
I did an interview with the excellent Will Bunch on his new e-book: "Tear Down This Myth: How the Reagan Legacy Has Distorted Our Politics and Haunts Our Potential,
Office Professional Plus 2010," and I am going to be posting the video shortly.
