11:43 p.m. | Updated The Mets brought Nationals reliever Tyler Clippard back to earth on Tuesday.
Clippard, who discussed his 6-0 start with The Times’s Tyler Kepner on Monday, took the loss in the Mets’ 8-6 comeback win Tuesday night at Citi Field.
Clippard entered the game in the eighth with the Nationals ahead,
